Job Description
At PWI, we’re transforming how customers experience design by building the tools of the future. Our engineering team has created a one-of-a-kind system that automates the design process for several of our core products — drastically speeding up project turnaround and freeing engineers to focus on solving complex, high-impact challenges.
As a Design Automations Engineer, you’ll help shape and expand this system. You’ll blend 3D modeling with programming to push the boundaries of what’s possible in automated design.
Responsibilities

Create and update 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.

Write iLogic scripts and C#/.NET code to automate model configurations.

Define project scopes and technical requirements for new automation features.

Integrate with external data sources and APIs.

Troubleshoot and enhance existing design automation systems.

Help shape future versions of PWI’s design automation platform.

Education or Experience
-
3+ years of professional experience with Autodesk Inventor.

Experience developing .NET desktop applications or full-stack systems.

Experience writing iLogic scripts and C#/.NET code preferred.

Experience developing solutions for Autodesk Platform Services preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail with solid organizational skills.

Strong proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.

Ability to design scalable automation solutions.

Understanding of APIs and external data integration.

Comfortable working independently while collaborating with engineering teams.
Physical Abilities

Must be able to sit and work with a computer for extended periods of time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be asked to stand, walk, or visit production areas to support engineering collaboration.

Compensation
$75,000 – $90,000 salary plus annual profit-sharing bonus
Hours
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday through Friday
